Kaleidoscopic Mandala (Part1: Mandala)

Experimenting with the idea of mandalas and kaleidoscopes…

I started off by dividing a circle into 8 equal sections. I added my design to the initial segment/slice and converted it to a smart object in Photoshop. It was then duplicated, rotated, angled and placed to make the full circle. Updating this first segment automatically updated the copied sections; giving it a kaleidoscopic/mandala effect.
